Doing the Dew with the Ladies

From the land of the Bluenose...had my daughter for one of those rare weekends so the three of us did the dew at Peggy's Cove for a bit of photo taking, exploring and of course the manatory stop at the Sou'Wester for their famous gingerbread and ice cream. Second trip here in as many weeks.
After this we stopped by the monument for Swiss Air disaster flight #111 and continued up the coast to Chester where Marie and Kayla wanted to go to bingo........ummmmmmmmmmm. Of course on the way I got to make my pilgrimage to my holy land...the ballfield on Station Rd where I learned my trade and spent every summer from day from dusk to dawn honing my skills. Well as luck would have it I won at bingo ($50) but was subjected to their music for the whole trip back....spare me! A perfect day whereas I even found a possible new digging site that I hadn't noticed before. Teenagers...hardly no time for parents these days...sad!

and we only have 1 teen in the house. Most of her activities though are good (acting programs and church related doings) and the not so good running her back and forth to her Dad's for 'his weekend with her. Nice guy - beat up his first wife now my third wife with baggage from him, constantly trying to impose his rules into our household, and now that he hasn't got a job he is using Casey's college fund (set up by her grandma before she passed away) money to pay bills, etc. instead of getting a job. Did I say nice - I was being facitious of course.
Glad though you had time out with the teens even if you were the tazi driver. Hey great picture Leslie - should be on a lighthouse calendar. Maybe send it to some publishing company for lighthouse calendars get some big bucks and upgrade your detector the top of the line green machine (or if you are like me drooling over the Minelab EX 2).

From the land of the Bluenose...that fellow sounds like a real heal. Dealt with a lot of bouys like that when a policeman and have no respect for those weak minded men who beat ladies. Worse was the ones who hit children.
As for a top of the line Garrett....mine was 16 years ago and can't see anything out there any better especially not a Minelab! Day closer to the forum hunt...too excited! God bless!

I was a military policeman (U.S.Air Force). Seen those abusive people and loved to give jewelry to them (silver bracelets).
I have the GTA 1000 Ultra and last year got the GTAx 1250. The 1000 has found me some real nice things. Still getting used to the 1250 since I didn't get out with it much last year. I have to do a trade off though.
The 100 has more features than the 1250.
The 1250 on the other hand has newer circuitry so more depth but lacking all the great features the 100 had. Just never sure which one to use - the old reliable 1000 (and maybe miss something) or settle for depth and put up with not being as pampered as I am with the 1000.
I want to get one of those elliptical PROfomance 7x10" for the 1250 one of these days. More coverage, more depth and maybe a bit lighter to swing.
I love my Garretts. Dreaming of other machines though never hurts (dreaming is probably as far as I'll go for now. Last year we got a bonus check at work for $500 so I was able to get the 1250. I heard this year there will be no bonus So that coil may be on the back burner for awhile or at least til the wife gets back to her spring-fall job of answering phones.)
Will be looking forward to seeing you at the CMD hunt, Leslie. Do you collect any Security badges? I have a few if you are interested.
