Tuesday was last day for me here.
Went out at mid day was 15 above,the ballfield I tried first was froze to hard to dig. Went to the house built 1905 didn't find any goodies this time out, but could dig. It was cold enough that I broke the rubber tension relief for my probes cord. Then after getting home it started to dump that white stuff from the sky,have a couple inches on ground now,and real cold. Down to maybe 0 tonight.
I'll post some pictures of my meger finds this year later.

I usually have until the first 2 weeks of Dec. but there ain't no guarantees in this game. I sure plan to enjoy my next several hunts as if they are my last, because they very well could be. Oh man, I hate the winter.
 
YEP it's gettin Cold and yep it's gonna snow soon but it's also time to start doing some reserch on the areas you would like to hunt when the ground thaws............It's not frozen yet ......get out there and dig.... dig....DIG>>>>>>>>>>>
If it was'nt for a place like this to post I wouldn't know where I would draw my incentive to get my Lazy butt out there and find something interesting and keep ME GOINING..............
We didn't pay this kinda $$$ on a machine to Put in the closet DID WE ??????
 
Ya winter is coming <img src="/metal/html/frown.gif" border=0 width=15 height=15 alt=":("> I have not done much beach hunting during the winter months but since I'm within 45 minutes of the ocean I'll be giving it a try this winter. Anyone else on the coast hunt the beaches in the winter? Just wondering what to expect with the winter tides and storms moving the turf around. Should be interesting.
