Don't forget Mothers Day is Sunday

It is at this time of the year that I really miss my mom. She has been gone since 1994. Sometimes you just don't appreciate them until they are not around anymore. Joans' son only lives about 10 minutes east of here, but he does not come to see her, even when he goes by here on the way to Wal-Mart. That really bothers her. The last couple of years he has not even come to see her on Mothers Day. Use to come around only when he wanted something, and when we put a stop to that, he put a stop to coming by. If you still have your mother, show her how much you love her and care for her. I will take Joan out for dinner on Sunday and try and make it a good day for her. God Bless all of you mothers. God loves you!

Happy Mother's Day to your wife, DK! Most kids and even the grown-up ones don't understand what mothers do for their children until they have children of their own! They step on your toes when they are little and on your heart when they get bigger! Mine are too busy trying to make a living that they don't come to see me, but I do hear from them once in awhile, especially my youngest daughter, Tami! She sent me a BEAUTIFUL MOTHER'S DAY CARD ...the words in it shows she has come a long way from what she once was! Always been my baby but teen years are tough on them and on moms and dads! :) God Bless! Betty

Tell Joan Happy Mother's Day from me.
It will be different this year with my wife not being here.
