I Like what i'm hearing about the T2, I have an XP goldmaxx. How do they compare? Should I wait until the fisher F75 comes out? Any help is appreciated Thanks.....Johnny

Hello Johnny........You have a fine detector in the Goldmax.
Maybe you could tell us what you like about it, which in turn will help us to offer relative advice on the T2.
The Goldmax in my opinion being a machine of 'audio definition', and so relying on your interpretive skills to optimise on its undoubted strengths of speed, separation and depth.

Tell us your opinions and what kind of success you've been having with it. Maybe then we can offer some relevant comments in a comparative sense.

The T2 is THE BEST I've experienced in accurately ID'ing things.
That of course requires you to learn the significance of the relationship between the target and numerics.
Its non magnetic IDing being in the 45 to 99 range generally.

David Johnson has passed on some very pertinent advice via one of the earlier post.

This forum is the best for finds reports, so providing a true reflection of its abilities also.

Forget about any crap comments of 'our soil, your soil' That's just irrelevant hogwash. Soils differ yard by yard never mind continent by Continent.

Coins machine, relic machine ?? more irrelevance.

A detector doesn't 'see', it SENSES....

You never know the significance of a find until it's in your hand.

From the kind of units you already have, it indicates that you would appreciate the T2 and take to it like a duck to water!

A field test for this machine is superfluous. It's a 'cut and dry' format. The designer has honed it down to shear functionality.

Honest audio. Most accurate VDI. LIGHT-WEIGHT. FAST.

Hi Matt,

That is a rally good mail the T2 advice is encouraging and the general detecting information that you have voiced and recommended can never be over stated.:clapping:Thanks,Jerry.

Matt, well said advice. I am a coinhunter that has used every detector made and I have made great finds with just about every detector that I have used. Plain and simple, the T2 is a great detector period. And Johnny, if you hunt coins, the T2 is very capable of finding deep silver and copper coins. The jury is out on the F75, but we have a verdict on the T2 right now. R.L.

I really appreciate your help. I think I will get a T2 to go with my goldmaxx and explorer se. between the 18khz,13khz and fbs I think I will clean up. Cant wait to hear reports about the F75. I havent used the goldmaxx much yet, The ground is frozen here. HH Johnny

I might wait it out for the F75. It has to be not too far off. The best relic hunters on this forum love the T2 and say it is one of if not the best for their needs.

I have the T2 and am still learning it but have found some great finds and it goes very deep and can see through iron and pull targets out from the iron.

If I were in your shoes I might wait and see if the new fisher is really going to be as good in iron as the T2. The T2 makes a lot of noise but it is like a race car and you want to hear that power. I would only buy the new F75 if it was better at relic hunting then the T2 and that would be hard to beat. If it was as good then the extra bells and whistles might be worth the wait for yoi, but those extras don't mean anything to me.
