Don't want to sound like complaining - just stating what is going on

had no work for awhile now overworked...and getting 40 hours in a week - could get more but the boss said no way.

We have the biggest bass tournament going on up here at Houghton Lake with the N.B.A.A. (National Bass Anglers Association) with a 3 day contest. Had to set up over 400 chairs in the Atrium (large room) for a 1 hour meeting. Lots of furniture moving, etc., trying to get ice machines working and running outside power to give the boaters someplace to plug in the chargers to charger the batteries for trolling motors. The place was PACKED yesterday with boats, trucks, etc. Cheapest one boat I saw was probably 20 grand. Today, tomorrow and Friday they are competing. Friday we also have a billiards (pool) tournament to start. I can't tear down fast enough to get things set up for the next event.

That is good news that the business is picking up. No day off so far in almost 3 weeks which explains why you haven't heard much from me. I get home, put the laptop on my lap and by the time it has powered up, I have fallen asleep with it in my lap.

Got home from the hospital this morning at 4 am and was back at work at 8 am to fold rental chairs to be picked up. Stacked the remaining chairs as they will be bringing in the pool tables today to set up for Friday. Just one thing on top of another with no end in sight.

Got home from work last night and Sherry had had a couple angina attacks (heart pains) but nothing she thought unusual but when she took her blood pressure the machine could not read the pulse...then she took it again and the pulse rate was 166 beats per minute...way too high.

She seems to be doing pretty good at the moment. Just talked with the doctor who seems intelligent (and a non- American - maybe Argentinian?) Had some questions and he answered them rather well. I think Sherry is on the mend but will probably not be release til tomorrow and Casey also has a graduation party tomorrow...whether Sherry will make it or not we are not sure.

Thanks for the prayers everyone - God bless you all.

Well, Bro Pete, all I can say is, When it rains it pours and when it doesn't it is hot and dry! Sooo, you had to do without any money for awhile and now you are making some money to pay the bills! It's a shame that it comes all at once and then none, but that is how it is in this worldly life! Remember, we are in this world but not of it! Just take care of yourself and Sherry! Prayers for you, her and Casey....hope she has a nice graduation! Keep the faith and give it all to God to take care of and do what you can do without killing yourself and let Him take care of the rest! God Bless! Betty

Praise the Lord Sherry is doing better, and that you have plenty of work.

Glad the wife is doing better! Also glad you now have a job to go to - but don't over do it!
