Visiting the Jersey shore this weekend and, since the weather was so great, there was a good-sized beach crowd. Swung the AT Pro as evening fell. Found this loot in pretty short time. My non-detector family looked on with skepticism. As I easily dug one item after another their scoffing began to abate. If the silver plate bookmark didn't change snickers to cheers, the 14k wedding band (Yep, hiding there to the left of the dimes) certainly did. Very clear inscription. Put it on Craig's List lost and found. Fingers crossed that we can make someone real happy.

Da gold.

Nice ring:thumbup:...Your going to have a ton of people responding to that lost and found ad; on Craigslist! Be careful who you respond to and screen them before you meet them or invite them to your home. better to be cautious than too trusting.

Goldstrike, the ring has a very distinct, personal inscription on it that no one would guess and only the spouses or very close friends or family would be likely to know.

I agree with Goldstrike. I have put listings on Craigslist and the weasels come out of the woods trying to guess what I had found. Be Careful.

Thank you for all the congrats and kind words. So far only one response to my Craig's List post.
