dragged the ACE out & looked for some gold

it was real windy yesterday so no water hunting for me so out came the ace. with all this talk about finding gold in the grass i thought I'd dig all signals over notch 2 & i wouldn't stop digging till i found some 5.5 hours later i had one sore arm, a few coins, a huge pile of junk, one piece of silver & no gold rings .
I've found 12 silver rings at this site so i thought i had a good chance at finding gold the park is quite large so i"v got plenty of area to hunt yet maybe next time.
all up i got about $12 in coins, a silver fish pendent & a little cross made of unknown metal.

What do you mean that's all you got? I would love to have a day like that. I'm glad you collect your trash, that makes it easier for the next person who goes
metal detecting on that spot. I fell down and hurt my back Sunday near this creek and did not find the first coin or relic. But, I did take out a 3 gallon bucket of trash. so, all in all, my day wasn't a total loss, because I took the trash out.

I really want to get one of those classifiers. they fit my buckets that I take with me for trash and it's a lot easier than carrying a large sifter around.
