About an hour and a half in nothing but junk and pulltabs a kid pulls up in a golf cart ask’in “ watcha you doing?” so I go ahead and tell him that I’m treasure hunting so he follows me around for a while asking a lot of questions like he’s interested. So I’m thinking what the hell I’m thirsty and I walk a couple hundred yards back to my truck and let him use my machine. I get back and he says “ you do it I want to see how it’s done” I dig the first target and it’s a zincoln. The next one is a dime. I hit a a 47TID between two iron signals and I think what the hell if he finds the aluminum scrap at least it’s something. he insisted on digging through the wet sand with his fingers, and he looks up at me and says “it’s a ring!” I asked him does it say anything on the inside ? he says. ” iok jd” it took me a second to say do you mean 10 K? Anyway, the kid made it a very fun hunt and brought me luck if you believe in that.
I tested the diamond on top and it indicates genuine. The ones on the side are so small I’m gonna have to get somebody younger to check them out.
