Dual field coil weight ?

SWMO Mark

New member
Is the Dual Field 12" coil weighted? Or does it weigh the same as the other 12" whites coils of the same design. Thanks

I am pretty sure that it is not weighted. So it should be the same weight as their other 12" coils. I believe that Andersons Shafts sells weights for the dual field coils. You probably would have gotten more responses on the Beach detecting section of this forum.

Hello,

If your question is about the Surfmaster Dual Field coil then the answer is that the 12" yellow DF coil is weighted but still buoyant.

I tried the Anderson weight but then drag skyrockets so I prefer to swing the DF without it.
