Dug my first HALF cent at 1800's house plus tribe of indians

today I hunted a house the owner told me was built in 1864, targets galore! I dug well over $3.00 in clad, bunch of wheaties but only one silver, and it just barely squeeked by being a 1963 rosie!..................lots of trash too, bet I dug over 50 trash items that just sounded so good!....

......anyhow, lets talk about that half cent I dug, it is undated but hey I will take it! Not everyday you find one of these babies!!!!!

ok ok, now admit it that was funny! :clapping:
But I did dig a whole tribe of injuns, after todays 5 that I found that takes me to 56 for the season only one less than all of last year where I got 57, I think I stand a good chance to beat last year!

Man, you had me clicking on your post hoping to see a real half cent. I was telling a fellow today about all the indians you had found this year so far. How many now? Should be closing in on 100. Always look forward to your posts and videos.

That was funny , I was thinking my gosh a half cent.

Hi Terry, I thought the same thing: A Half Cent and then you fooled us..............but mine is even worse I have a half Indian Head cent and don't know the date either! Congrats on all the finds and the gathering up of a whole tribe of Indians plus silver and all the wheaties! We can call you the IH detecting man now instead of the Wheaties man! :) May God Bless! Amen!

I dug one of them type of half cents before! Hoping to dig the real deal some day!
What a nice bunch of finds! Congrats!

when I got my pair of crash scissors it said on the packaging "strong enough and sharp enough to cut a penny". Well of course had to test it to see if they were right and they were .... so....there are lots more 'half cents' to be found (I am sure I am not the only one who tested the crash scissors on a penny.)
