I made it out detecting a couple of Saturdays ago to an old school yard near Price, Utah and found a 1966 class ring from the local high school. Now the fun of finding its rightful owner...it's a wish I've had for a long time. I have had contact with the owner's wife and she is excited to have her husband's ring back where it belongs... Can't wait to accomplish the task!!!

wow. thats amazing. what a find. it will be so rewarding to see the look on his face when he see's it again. be interesting to know when he lost it. i suppose while still attending school. congrats on a great find

Nice find!!Have returned a few rings myself and what a good experiance it is. Have a camera ready to capture the smiles...and post it. Happy Hunting!!

WTG Thats a beutiful ring.I found a few over the years but was unable to find the owner. There all gone now.

It is most commendable on your part to have taken the time and trouble to find the original owner. As others have stated, the feeling you get returning this will far exceed the thrill of finding it.

You are a good man, wagonwheel!!
