Believe thats a neckerchief slide. Dont know the age but it is , no doubt, on the net as a site dealing with them,. Neat find, must have given a big signal, steve in so az

it gave off a signal as being silver but i have a simple machine so it dosent mean its really silver. ya this is the 2nd one i have found i like em...i have noticed when i was trying to find em online that i guess the older ones have the eagle looking upwards..

Great find!!! I have found 16 neckerchiefs, 4 different types.

what do you do with the ones you find? mine are just in a jewelry box right now. it would be cool to find all the different ones and display them...or am i just a dork for thinking so?

Get some display cases and you can start a display of your better finds. When you get doubles and tripples, you can store them in cans or whatever.

Yea, I want to desplay them, but for now they are just sitting in my home office collecting dust. LOL
I want to wait like a year, and find as many as I can, then put all of them in a jumbo desplay and put them in my office at work.
