Eagle Spectrum vs Eagle Spectrum Professional

Does anyone know the difference in Eagle Spectrum and Eagle Spectrum Professional the pre XLT versions with C batteries

Never heard of such a thing? All the Eagle Spectrums I've seen use the same battery packs.

There were different models the original Eagle Spectrum took 4 C batteries the Eagle Spectrum XLT used AA and different lcd screen, also Eagle Spectrum Professional just wondering what difference was

You may be thinking of the EAGLE11 SL
Might be the model between the XL PRO and Eagle Spectrum XLT.

There was only one Eagle Spectrum. All used the C size battery pack. The SL and the XLT were not Eagle Spectrums.

Never owned the SL but I did own the XLT. Didn't care much for the XLT. Personally, I felt the Eagle Spectrum was a bit deeper, But I did have many years on the Eagle Spectrum. The XLT was lighter.

I have the regular Spectrum it doesnt say Professional on it like this model

Hum? I have my doubts about this picture. First if you Google "Whites Eagle Spectrum" you get some 10,000+ hits. Google "Whites Eagle Spectrum Professional" and you get 0 hits. Also, the picture looks odd. Looks painted on not a sticker like what you normally see. Almost like someone Photoshopped that picture or it is a first run test unit?

Never heard of the Eagle Spectrum Professional either. I have owned the Spectrum and it is a great machine. I did convert mine to rechargeable AA's by using sleeves and it worked great but didn't get as long battery life with the AA's. The weight was better with the AA's though.

I believe he is talking about the Eagle slim line. It was a short run machine between the wide body spectrum, and the slim body XLT .. Early 90's.

I didn't realize the difference I see now the top picture in Southwinds post is the slim line model 1993 with display pod moved forward and the bottom picture is the pre slim line model 1991 with display pod further back

I still am confused about the professional model?

Sometimes Whites has made units with different stickers etc. for Kelly co.. So it seemed they were not competing with local dealers models.... ?? Just a thought..
