Ear pads for ws5 headphones are always falling off

clockspring

Unless they are on my head or in the storage case, the earpads for the ws5 headphones are always falling off. I've almost lost them a few times. Has anyone else had this problem and is there a good way to fix it?

Thanks in advance.

Yep----Same here----Then it takes time to put them back in place---have look at putting some black tape around the edge to hold them---Hope that there is a better way---Jack

Had the same problem last year. You can either affix the pads so they don't come off or have XP replace the headphones (they will), or have them send you the WS-4s with Gray Ghost headphones which is what I did. And if you need to hunt while you wait for the replacement(s), have XP send the replacements with the agreement you'll send the defective headphones back when you receive the replacements...again, that's what I did. Good luck.

Thank you for the information.

It's a really quick fix, you can pop the plastic baffle out ( the part the ear pad fits over) I put some contact adhesive on mine and clipped it back.

had the same thing happe to me. they told me they would send some new foam pads and i hope that works. first time out the foam was falling off and they are not cheap headphones

HI gary. Could you do a quick how to video.this just happens to me. I got it back on with some frustration . Headphones are brand new

Well that was pretty easy. Just like Gary said. The piece the foam goes on has four clips holding it in place and with minimal prying it will pop off and then foam can be placed back on and then snapped back in place. I put a couple of drops of gorilla glue on the cloth portion before snapping back together.
