It would say "E Pluribus Unum" if it wasn't so worn.
Everything is intact though. Found it in one of my best farm fields here in N. Indiana this past Sunday. Also got another flower button about the same size.

What is it worth? How much snow do you have on the ground?

with most of the gilt still on it and not nearly as worn as mine. It closed at $44.95. Don't really know how much the corrosion and wear brings the value down.
We have 2"-4" of snow in the area. How about you?

Dry as a bone here. I was in Chicago this week and just cold there. Haven't checked the ground yet but thinking about doing some digging this weekend if it's not solid!
