Early 1934 PI?

A detector of the year 1921 is not balance/induction type, hope is two coils PI balanced by rheostat. The consumption in good adjustment point is near 2 A!

The detector consist in:

2 exploring coils
Rheostat
Inductors
Transformer: 2 primaries, 1 secondary
Ammeter
Switch
Telephones (high Z)
Buzzer (or electromechanical vibrator)
Batteries
Pushbutton
 
Posted the "electric balance PI detector" (or approximative PI type) on Geotech. This pure electrical detector was published in 1921
