Got up a little after 3am. Checked the forums, made a pot of coffee and hit the beaches. Looked like a garbage truck blew up! Managed to run the F70 through it all running my totlot program so I could get between the cans and hunt fast for surface targets. The big ring is a fake, the E-cig is not, Got a few deeper discolored coins at the waters edge, but was mainly working the dry. I could not cover it all, just too many people and places that were heavily used last night, so I was smoke jumping as hitting the hot spots. It was also too dark to see any paper money, I did get a bag of cans too. Found 2 pairs of shoes that did not fit, so left them there. That little gold wings thing down at the bottom rang up as a nickel, and is off of a charm bracelet, its not marked, so I'll test it.

you did good nice pile of coins, i too was up early i hit the local park where the fireworks show was must have been 2000 people there last night only got 10 Qs and a few junk jewelry items hh

Nice going Mud. Your coins sure does look clean compared to the coins I dig.

You got up a little before I did. It's hot and dry here, so it pays to get out early.

Thanks fellers...Yeah, Tab, all of these were dropped yesterday with the exception of the dark ones. Our beaches are now packed to the gills, so it will be my daily grind from now until the Fall...Its awful tough duty compared to dirt work. Miles and miles of deep sand here, loads and loads of trash left behind, the beach grooming machines run every morning so its a race. Not that the beach machines pick up coins and rings, they mainly get the larger garbage, but they certainly cover the tracks and sign I'm looking for, which makes for a very random hunt. A fellow has to hit it early before sunup or at night or its too hot and crowded. Ten bucks a day clad is a good haul and covers the gas, a fellow needs paper money and gold of course to have a successful season.
