Early Buffalo Nickle - Type 2 1914 or 1917

The Nakto Simplex with the 9.5 by 5 inch coil continues to impress. This early Buffalo found at the 1902 house I've been working. Lots of metal debris, but the machine locked on solid. When you pull nails and other debris out of the same hole as the coin, you know your machine is doing it's job. The date is either 1914 or 1917.

A 1914 buff is a great find....at least 25 bucks worth and up, ... take tender loving care in producing the date on that coin !
