Early Goldquest help

chaddy

New member
Well i have received my battery-less Goldquest today.
Still in good condition.
Can somebody confirm the + ive and - ive conections please.
Also should there be something connected to the board in the bottm right hand of the Pic.?

Circuit board says PPD2 Issue 2.
Thanks.

Red is positive, Blue is negative, and brown is audio to phones which uses the red lead as a common ground return. If you connect a jack socket to the red and brown leads, when phones are plugged in, the internal speaker should cut out.

Eric.

Hello Eric.
I appreciate your help on this now old detector.

I know how good your machines are because of this forum. Always highly recommended.
If i get into pulse detecting i know what my next new machine will be that's for sure.
Dave.

So check that out as well.
Make sure you ask to list ALL Dates in the box.
