I went to an old school built 1910 per the sign carved on top of building...

This is a pounded to death site..I have had every machine I ever owned there one time or another. Not much found but a good coin and a decent old button..Barber dime measured 10" deep..button 8 " deep.button hit mid tone 68 on Id and barber dime registered high shriller tone audio and Id at 84 on meter.

I didn't expect to find much..and I didn't LOL, but enjoyed trying a new machine at an old site... I will go back....started sprinkling rain.and I'm afraid I might melt..HAHAHA........so packed it in headed home. See attached picture for all finds sans the junk...........

Nice dime El. Love those Barbers. Is a 84 dime reading fairly norm with the T 2, or did the depth affect the reading some? HH jim tn

I will take note and let you know if I hit any more..

83 and 84 are solid dime readings for the t-2.....if a penny is laying on the ground you will also get a 82-83 reading for it....ive dug pennies an inch down that gave me a 83 reading....

Thanks El and pennystock. I should have a T 2 within the next few days and was just curious about its readings. HH jim tn

T2.. You will have a little head start..very different from F-75 readings isn't it ?.

40-45- foil & Gum wrappers
58 Us. Nickle dead on 59 60 usually pulltabs..nickles read high tone on 3 and 3b settings for tones a nice feature
60-75 pulltabs
70-80 screw caps and old Us coin range so if in right spot dig 73 to 79 readings
78 Zinc penny. You know when it's a penny sounds different than a screw cap with 3b tone setting
75-85 flattened pop can..loud and coil can be raised 2 feet and still hits the target
83 Clad dime dead on also copper pennies
89 Quarter dead on
92 Fifty cent piece ??
94 Silver dollar ??

HAS seven Tone settings

Nice Elton. Barber at 10" is pretty impressive. They are thin little dimes. Mine should be here on Thurs. and I can't wait to get it out detecting. What sens. were you running?
