Heading down the road listening to the 40's on Sirius XM radio, water bottle full of Willard water and my mc D's bag full of 2 apple pies and egg mc muffin. Only missing my Fuente cigar. Quit 10 years ago still have a hankering for one. I followed someone in each park. One guy was real good. But just kept plugging along until my wife called and said lunch ready get home or I will throw it to the pigs. So went straight home. Thanks for looking and Happy Trails.....Z

Knarfi that is what I said to myself, it is a perfect day. We live in the city and I don't think my wife knows a pig farmer (hope not)?? But when she says that I know it is time to go home without yelling at me. It is a friendly persuasion tactic and it works every time. :surrender:

Ez4sure I think any hunt with 50 or more coins is a great hunt. I don't care if they are all pennies. Every coin I dig means practice in digging, covering, pinpointing, always improving my recovery method for a more efficient relaxed hunt. I am not rushing to find coins or have a goal. I am out there just being satisfied. I have watched a good number of hunters in the past few years and see that they are out there to relieve frustration, anger, and what ever? It is something that fits into their fast paced life not really to enjoy, it is to get away without the benefits connected to detecting. I doubt that some even realize the flow detecting has to universal peace. Sorry ez I got on this rant again..

Mud every hunt is an expedition into coin land and magic. You see at, 72 I am very fortunate to have a 9 year old great grandson living with us to keep me as close to being a kid as I can get. I watch him double every day. He soaks up information and his imagination runs in every direction. I guess it kind of rubs off on me. It makes for a grand old time of wonder and excitement, what ever I am doing and for no reason.
Thanks for reading and Happy Trails.....Z
