Easter finds..

:usaflag:No pictures..but an interesting day. Went out in my yard this morning before our trip to sister-in-laws for dinner. Found an old sardine(?)can..half open with the old style key that was use to open it..still stuck in it. An old distributor cap..(yup)..with all the sparkplug wires still attached. This was the same area where I found an old Ford water pump half-buried when we bought the place. Threw the Ace in the trunk for the trip...my wife kinda rolled her eyes at me..but she knew it was pointless to argue. Ate supper and spent a good portion of my time diggin' up my sis-in-law's yard. Was'nt finding too much on her lawn so I decided to work the perimeter of the house. In a three foot square spot I found six wheaties..two quarters and two dimes. And under her clothesline I found another 80 cents in clad..and a silver necklace she had lost about 5 years ago..she had often wondered what had happened to it. Had a good time but I'm tired...I gotta be losing some winter fat from all that walking and digging.

Nice hunt!:detecting:Sounds like fun!:thumbup:Good clad haul!:clapping:Congrats on finding that silver necklace!:cheers:Happy Hunting!:)

Was she happy to see the necklace?

:usaflag::detecting:She was'nt elated...more surprised that it turned up. It was'nt a family heirloom or anything. There is never a dull moment in this hobby, you just never know what you are going to find...I love it.

They always roll the eyes until you bring the ring home, then they are upgrading your detector on xmas. like my wife did.lol.
