That really hit home Vern. My son mike,currently over seas, has his heart set on a '64.5 that a freind of ours has that is totaly rust free. That commercial REALLY makes me wish i had the means to buy and have that car together for him when he returns home.

Well, we'll see. It'll be a few years before he returns so........... maybe.
My old man did zzactly the same thing Vern. But i can assure ya it made a good dad out o' me :thumbup: I made it a point to be better than all that i witnessed him do.
Also, as far as i'm concerned, it's never too late.

the seventh week of Marine Corps Boot Camp that all Marines were being pulled outta Nam, my MOS was M-60 machine gunner in a weapons platoon, I was due for a 13 month tour in Nam and had hopes of meeting one of my brothers who was already there, thanks Rusty for your great service to our country, if I ever meet you some day I will reach out and shake your hand and say thanks Rusty, you probably saved this young Marines life with your service to your country and I believe you did, thank you Rusty :thumbup: .... :usaflag:
