Edge 10.5" coil

I see there's now a 10.5" coil available for the Edge.
Any comments from users of this coil?

Well, to me it's basically like all the other Fisher 10.5" coils....adds extra weight, better ground coverage, and maybe another inch or 2 depth.
I used mine for relic hunting in open fields mostly & it was handy for that. Not bad on the beach eaither. But, I was certain to make use of the Edge's belt mount because of the added coil heavy weight.
I have to add I ended up selling my big Edge coil once I got the Sun Ray probe. Because the SunRay probe/adaptor allows me to just put my C$ 10.5" coil on the Edge whenever I may need it.....
