editing out high tone falses

Since the topics seems to have revolved around high tone falses lately ....

Whenever I try to edit out upper right corner falses, such as where hot rocks are all over, I can't seem to get a small enough area covered with the edit icon. It only works if I can find a rock with the 31-31 signal and learn it. Learning makes a small black dot, but small box edit makes one too big. Anyone else have this problem? Sometimes I' feel like editing out high tones in parks but I never seem to have the right rock handy.

In the edit mode you have a choice of size of edit, the smallest setting is one (1) pixel at a time.

Here in Oregon I have lots of hot rocks and have some patterns set with 4 to 9 pixel blacked out in the upper right hand corner the rest is wide open.

When you go to the edit screen you have a choice of three sizes the the top left key pad selects the size you want.

My smallest edit box seems only good for 2 pixels horizontal and 1 pixel vertical, not 1x1. And I've always had problems with the small pixel box right near the edges. Sometimes if I run it all the way up or down, then start blocking out pixels, it leaves a line of open pixels at the very edge. I have to jump to a medium or large box and move up, then I can go about blocking out along an edge with no open line.

Maybe I own an Explorer I with bugs. It's no big deal, just an annoyance.

Move the smallest cursor to the very corner, then select the larger one
it will block out a larger than you need or want area.

next step is to push the lower button on the pad one time, move the cursor away from the area then hit lover button another time this puts you into select good areas now take your time and work the good area around to leave just what you want to keep.

I have the 2 and don't really know if my 1 was different in this feature.
