As to the recent shooting - this says it all, steve in so az

Personally I've not read anything, on the background, of the young man who did the shooting other than that he was of genius I.Q. One cannot help but wonder what his family life was like and if he had any spiritual background? So many young people today are raised by a single parent and so few have any religious/church afiliation. And so many spend most of their waking hours in front of an electronic device, whether it be a cell phone, computer, or gaming device. They seem to have little or no people skills and or ability to comunicate
as most of us did, when we were growing up. All of this may be an excellent reason to bring more young people into the hobby of metal detecting? Just my two-cents...
