Enough for one day

Got up early and decided not to hit the beach...its been very poor hunting it all week, though the big moon was good to have, and I got some empties, towels, sunglasses and lighters...but not any good jewelry just a lot of junk, and the clad was scarce as well. I decided to do my normal totlot milk run and pick up some clad for gas money...Totlots were picked clean! Even my "tell pennys" were gone! So I went to do the entrances of some schools and got into what I had missed in the past. I drove past the local Community College and there was nobody around, not even the security guards, so I made myself at home and worked the edges of the parking lots where the snow is pushed. Came home with 110 coins for 9.11. one is a Sac dollar. Few fresh drops. Running the 70 and the 11"dd like usual. Nice cool and overcast today...a fellow should make a day out of it and keep hunting, but I've got chores to do, so I said that's enough for one day.

That's a great haul for an outing. Looks like you more than covered your expenses for gas and batteries. I usually only find enough for a set of batteries.

Not many people can find and dig a hundred coins in one day. It didn't take you but a small part of a day to do it. Way to go Mud!

Thanks guys, yeah, I sure love clad stabbing!.. and I really needed the money for fuel so as to not have to ask the boss for my allowance...I got my work done and went back out. It was raining and really nice and cool, perfect! Got another 76 coins for 6.26 So between today and 4 bucks or so I got off the beach, I gassed that Subaru right up and am good to go for this coming week! I went to a local school not expecting a whole lot, thought I'd just sniff for nickels, (gold) but then theres the gate to the stadium unlocked and wide open! :super: A great big grass slope at the end of the field had a majority of these coins, the rest were stragglers at the edge of the track. All stabbed, not hole one dug...I'm gonna hit the beach tomorrow am as early as possible, which means maybe 3am or 4 tops...we have the inlaws showing up later in the day for an extended stay and I need to get a real good fix of detecting to deal with their crapola. I've been running the AA batterys in the AtPro until it says they are dead, then I put them in the F70 and get at least 15 more hours out of them! Isn dat veerd?

Hey Rick! How did you do on the walleye? Did this overcast help you out? Man, I was just watching the beachcam right now, and theres a damn guy with a full wet suit on, detecting out where I planned on going tomorrow! He's a big fella, left handed swinger from the looks of it...maybe I'll just sleep in and go catch a bucket of gills tomorrow...wait, first I'll have to go find a coin to flip!
