Sorry I didn't get a chance to answer this sooner. Sometimes a email is faster as I don't always make it to the forums.

To answer your question, the Deepstar is set up for Deepstar coils only.

The only units that I have from Eric that could use a non-Eric Foster coils, would be the Goldscan 5 as it was designed with that compatibility built in to use Minelab type.
