Hello. I have a Superscan detector that I purchased from Eric Foster in the late 90's. I can not charge the battery ! ? Could it be the battery dead or the charger at fault ! ? And can I get parts now ! ? Thanks. Derek.
 
Derek,it is easy to measure voltage of charger output. It should be more than 28VDC.
Here is the part of circuit diagram which relates for charging inside control box.

Note that the switch MODE should be in position OFF noted as CHARGE in circuit diagram.
