Eric or anyone => Accurate Locators, PI Penetrator 5500?

David

New member
Has anyone ever either owned, used, and/or heard a report about Accurate Locators equipment, and also about their honesty??

They sell the new Pulse Induction, PI Penetrator 5500 that was given a (review) Field Test by Jim Klein in Gold Prospectors Magazine (GPAA), in the Sep/Oct 2009 issue on page 42. He explained this is built to be best available in pulse induction technology. Also that everything we used from Accurate Locators have been of highest quality and have been very rewarding in the finds we made with their equipment and get your moneys worth dealing with them.

They also sell the Mega Pluse III.

And they not only sell PI's, but also Imaging equipment as well.

Hey David,
Isn't it funny that you will very rarely see a bad magazine review. I think even a Yugo got a good review.

Not a slam against Accurate locaters, just saying

There (accurate locators) shop is about 20 miles from me and they are good people. I have looked at that detector and is nice. Has alot more different attachments that the Minelab 4500. But they are about the same price, so either for me is out of my price range. I'm not sure how the PPI5500 does on small gold compared to the gp4500. Hard to beat the gp4500 for that.

Its always best, when looking to buy a pi machine, as to how fast the delay can be set and still run stable. Alot of the machines on the market which boast being able to detect a soda can at 3ft of depth would not be able to detect a gold ring at 12 inches because the delay is too slow. I prefer to dig up gold at 12-18inches depth and leave the soda cans for the nutters to dig up.

In my very limited expereience with the Accurate Locator I believe it is way deeper than the ML and very sensititive to small gold. Wish I could afford one. The audio sounds like a BFO detector.
