Eric or Mr. Bill.....Grey Ghost Headphone Question. :)

I put a Belkin connector on my Minelabe Excal. wanting to use my waterproof Grey Ghosts that came with my Aquasearch as they are fantastic. Everything worked out OK except the volume is about half of what it should be when the phones are hooked to the Excal.
Question is were these phones made with special impedence just for the Aquasearch or do you think there is some other issue?

You will have to change the impedance setting in the phones to match your detector. The impedance setting is different form the Aquasearch than it is for the Excalibur.

They are 3 wires in the cable, black, white, red. Black is always used, and depending on what setting you need, either the red or the white wire has to be used. I don
