Eric,
Monday you asked for inductance and resistance of PI-13000 coil.I dont have it.after my PI-1000 went down,I opeaned up coil to see how it was made.
I did make a fue expermental coils for it a fue years ago.they all worked.on the 1000. you could be 20 turns wire over, it would still work as good or better as orignal coil. I used regular magnet wire.
Dont have a way to mesure inductance.dont know name of inductance meter.
I take a low voltage, low amp, battery charger induce current into one side of coil measure it when it comes out with a M-amp meter. its gets me close.
Hope-fully Lucia will post inductance and resistance of PI-13000. Frank.

Hello,
I don't know its inductance. I know coil is 18 turns on 11" diameter for the 1000....
Cheers

Luca,
I supect that both coils are the same.after you get your PI-13000 to detect smaller gold.Ill tell you how to modify coil to get it to pinpoint, it will also detect smaller targets,(If the PI-13000 is a No-Motion detector) I tryed this on a CS-PI motion detector coil.it wont work.talk to you in a week or to. Frank-S.
