Eric would your 8 inch coil work better on hot ground?

It would in the fact that it see's less ground, so it is less affected by it.
One "may" notice a slight increase in sensitivity on small nuggets with the smaller coil also. ??????????

That's my point, you guys ought to be pushing those 8 inch coils for the prospecting, easier to get around in tight places and less ground effect to deal with.
