ETP - Delta 4000

Just wondering which would be a better detector for coin and jewelry? Hunting parks, schools, old houses and farms etc.

I never used a delta but I purchased a ETP about 3 weeks ago.I totally love it.I had used an ace 250 for years and the Etp I like much better'I found 2 half dollars last Saturday. One was silver.I hope this helps and I'm sure either one will be great.HH

I'll give a thumbs up for the ETP too. The ability to control your iron response volume around farms is awesome

Things are very simpe here : if you don't go with the ETP, you'll regret it very soon.

This does not mean the Deta is a bad detector.

It means the ETP is a very, very good detector !

I've had my quetsions on the ETP as well, but from a Delta perspecitve, I can't say enough about the machine. Notching and all metals being so simple... I can honestly say that I've found more clad and silver than I have with any other detector. It's a coin magnet :)

Go with the Eurotek Pro

You will not be disappointed

worked both units with, the Delta was the preferred model. I have both friends and family members who use the Teknetics Delta. I wanted opinions of what Delta users thought of the Euro-Tek Pro and all of them liked the Delta better.

I demonstrated the Euro-Tek Pro in a small group seminar which included several people who seem a little more 'serious' about the detecting hobby and like to hunt older sites more than the average 'coin hunter', and some of them use/have used Fisher, Bounty Hunter, Teknetics, Tesoro, White's and Garrett models that are in the lower-price ravage. I would say about half of them liked the Euro-Tek Pro over the Delta, but the other half still preferred a model with either automated Ground Balance or manual Ground Balance, so neither the Euro-Tek Pro or Delta really appealed to them.

That half group all favored a more functional and versatile detector for a variety of ground mineral conditions and indicated that a better detector up into the $599 range was well worth the extra investment. It's all really a personal thing and it would be good if you could visit a local dealer and check both the Euro-Tek Pro and Delta out yourself. For ME, I like the variable Disc. and Ferrous audio adjustment of the Euro-Tek Pro. Two hunting buddies I got out with this past few days preferred using the Delta, and did fairly well with it.

Try and check them both out and form your own opinion.
