ETP question

Is the ETP a good ring finder?I'm going to order one next week and was just wondering.I mainly hunt coins but everyone likes to find a ring now and then. Thanks in advance.:detecting:

Yep, it's actually a little hotter on low conductors vs the greek series. Having VCO tone for the gold rings also really helps. You can tell that nice round sound vs trash. The tone setup on the ETP really maximized the amount of data one can get from such a basic machine.

Agree 100%, the Eurotek Pro is a fantastic ring finder. I love to run my discrimination at 0 and set the audio to 11. Fantastic machine, I can't say enough. No better for the price.

Yep definantly a ring killer, the vco tone sounds like gold to me! Awesome machine!!!!!!!

I'm in Columbia, MO

Lay a pull-tab out and gold band ring.

Use headphones and listen.

the ring will hit with a more rounded audio thump/swish

the pull-tab will be "rougher" and not an smooth/round.

It's hard to describe but you can tell a difference with headphones for sure. The VDI will be very solid not bouncing more than 1 number. Pull-tabs can be solid as well as some junk on vdi but usually if you combine the audio and change directions you will notice a difference with trash vs treasure. when in doubt, dig!

thanks detectingMO
thats good info to know
