Etrac and hot rocks

Does the Etrac see through hot rocks and give a good signal on a target next to one. Will other detectors do that or is that just a feature of Etrac.. I have a good area with history and good targets but is too full of hot rocks and cinder to be able to hunt, If the Etrac would see through some of that I will buy one immediately. I thought some one posted something to this effect.

The explorer had a hard time in hot rocks, at least some types... others that bothered other machines it didnt see.. The sovereign was the best machine I ever used in hot rocks and it would see through the majority of them.. a better word I guess would be it ignored them... From what I am hearing the etrac may be back to that.. however a lot of hit rock areas are also heavily iron mineralized... and most machines have trouble seeing targets in iron, so it may not help you as much as you would hope.. I have a few sites like that.. Time will tell.. If it truely is fast enough to recover in iron.. The way I feel it works is simply processing the signals faster, which also tells me that someone hunting slowly enough would also find the same target with an explorer.. The true test of any machines ability is a side to side test,,, one person finds a target and the other checks with his.. not very often I have been shown a good target I couldnt hear when it was pointed out by another.. but you hit it too fast and you could walk right by it.. so if teh etrac can help with that then its worth the investment for explorer users.. I just dont think its going to be bale to see through the iron infested ground no other can either
