Eureka Gold search coil

graveler

New member
I have the factory Eureka gold 10 inch elliptical search coil, it has gone bad, anybody know of any better options, or should I stick with a new factory coil,

thanks Pete

I would go with the 8" round mono. Its a great coil that will easily out perform the original.

Hard to beat the stock coil, it will hit on smaller gold then the 8" round.

Not sure what Whylee means by saying the 8" will easily out perform the original. It may give a bit more depth on bigger bits.

I use a 6" round.

Coiltek makes several coils for the Eureka. From the 5x10 Joey to a15" round and a totally waterproof platypus.

Mono coils are for the SD and GP pulse induction detectors. They won't work on the Eureka which is a VLF detector.
