Eurotek on its way!

New member
Pulled the trigger on a Eurotek yesterday, should be here soon. I'm pretty stoked!
Judging from the reviews, videos, and advice from others, this machine looks pretty impressive for the price. I plan on using it for my backup, leightweight coinshooter. But who knows, it may become my main go-to machine!

...that is old enough to have some old coins. Run the audio & disc (iron too) wide open and listen for the high tones popping in thoughout the iron grunts...If it were a bird dog it would be pointing!

Thank you Mark for that tip!
I dont have any experience with a VDI numbers display, so I need any and all advice on using it correctly. My past experience has been with Garrett machines that have target icons.

Check out vids on YouTube ,Hank congrats

For the first 2 weeks dig everything and take notes of what each vdi # tells you. Work the coil low and slow.

Well, I got the Eurotek last night. Put it together and went out to the garage for some bench testing.
This machine is incredibly fast on retune, w0w!
After I checked the VDI numbers on all coins and common junk, I placed a silver dime next to a pulltab... about 1/2" away. This machine rang out on BOTH targets while sweeping and didnt miss a beat!
I am really impressed. Cant wait till the darn snow thaws so I can take her out in the field.
