Eurotek Pro in wet grass

I rode into town with my wife to do a little detecting while she got a few things, it started to rain as we got there. I grabbed a plastic bag to cover the control housing and started hunting, it was just a few minutes into my hunt and the rain stopped. The grass was quite long and saturated with water, I wasn't sure how the Eurotek was going to work in such conditions but am happy to say it worked just as well as using it in any other conditions. I know this isn't any ground breaking news but thought that I would let you all know as I feel that the more info we can get out on this great little detector the better.

What coil were you useing in the wet grass?
The 8" coil.

Thanks.I got one a month ago,for the grandkids, but haveing fun with it.Good detector, has features I like.Have both coils, just assumed both coils are waterproof.

The Eurotek Pro is the best machine I've ever used in the price range. This is my go to machine when the EMI is bad.

SkiWhiz, do you feel it can beat the Tesoro uMax series (Silver uMax) at in ground coin depth? This little detector just keeps on getting my interest. I wouldn't want to buy it if I got no gain on my current land detector, the Silver uMax. Also is this a fixed ground balance?

In this tough Oregon Ground the both the 11" and 8" are much deeper than the Vaquero and Silver uMax I had. the 11" is as deep/deeper than anything I've ever used.
