Eurotek Pro Pinpointer Volume Way Too Loud

I love my new Eurotek Pro, it's an amazing unit. The engineering is just fantastic! The single fault I have with it is that the Pinpointer volume is fixed and way too loud. My ears actually hurt the next day. I think this volume level would cause too much attention and possibly a disturbance out in the field. Being a technician I simply inserted a 22 ohm resistor in the positive speaker lead and the problem was fixed. I hope in a future code revision the Pinpointer volume is controlled the same way as the standard volume adjustments already in the firmware. If it went up & down from 1-9 like the existing digital control, that would be great. Anyone else notice this?

A set of headphones that have a volume limiter and volume adjustment controls is a big help in this area, I use the Sun-Ray Pro Golds. The limiter clips the volume off at adjustable level.
