I hit the same area again where I pulled the coins from last night, with great success. Most of the coins are got tonight are a little more modern, but still good enough for me!
So on with it...dug an 1884 Large Cent, 1909 Large Cent, 1918 Large Cent, 1915 British Penny, a 1939 quarter, along with a dozen or so pennies and dimes from 1930-1940.
I also found this awesome mens ring! Not sure what it's made of, but I like it.
A "Kingston" maple leaf pin.
as well as this little heart pendant...which has a "W" on the front...and the back has an inscription which I can't read.
Thanks for looking everyone. On this streak, I should head out for a night hunt *haha*

WOW I can't believe how well you're doing so soon after buying the detector. I'm jealous!! <img src="/metal/html/please.gif" border=0 width=29 height=15 alt=":please">
Congrats on the finds and good luck on your next trip out; not that you'll need it. <img src="/metal/html/lol.gif" border=0 width=15 height=15 alt=":lol">

There is a lot to the explorer for sure, but I'm patient and willing to put the time into it. I'm just starting to tap into a few of the explorers capabilities now, and have a long way to go, but I love this machine already. The slow sweep speed is amazing!! Great for picking up good targets from trash. My whites I had required a relatively fast sweep speed to get the real deep targets...and in doing this, nulling out over good targets was a problem. Keep at it! You'll get there. I'm sure people who have been using the Explorer for years still learn something new every time out.
