Excal coil wire repair question

Guest
I think that I am getting water into the coil and the water is causing the coil to send a loud, continuous signal. When the coil dries out, all is well. Is this a factory repair or will some RTV do the trick?

The leak you might be able to repair it but I think that another coil will be in your future. Theres a lot of stuff in these coils that will eventuially corrode to the point where it will be usless. Some of the guys are using epoxy on their coils to put a hard surface on the bottom....HH..Geo
