Got the rest of the parts I needed to finish my little Mod using all Minelab parts. Feels good and I think it will work just fine for me. HH..geo
 
Looks good Geo. I ended up mounting my Excal on a whites rod. I have a Tesoro middle rod coming to put on it that will eliminate the S middle rod of the whites.
Im going to swap out the seasearch coil for a 10" tornado in the next month or so for better coverage.

That looks good too, almost anyones middle rod from a 3 piece breakdown would work, Minelab makes one too that would do the job...Geo
 
I was kinda bummed that deal fell through,,but life goes on ..hope you got it working again...take care...adam
