Excal II and The Beach Hunter ID

I am a beginner with this hobby and am learning from a pro........the Beach hunter ID is a GREAT machine but the Excal II seems to be THE MACHINE to use in the water. VERY stable in the surf and DEEP....would a PI machine help me go deeper and if so any suggestions?

I have a Garrett Sea Hunter 2 and it goes deep I have dug a coin at about 2 feet give or take, hope you have a good scoop, also you'll dig a lot of trash
good luck

A PI machine will help U did more bobby pins and iron junk where a Excal will ignore it. A Sea Hunter is a good machine but be prepared to dig a bunch of trash

same here i have xcal 2 and had the sea hunter mk2 it does deep but pick up the smalest junk

Use the BHID and/or the Excalibur to get the recent drops out of an area then go in with the PI and only dig the deep good sounding targets.
Ignore any loud sounding targets with the PI.
