Excalibur II How does it work on land

New member
I was thinking of getting an Excalibur II for beach/water hunting. I was also going to use it as a backup for my DFX for hunting parks. Will the Excalibur work for coins and jewelery in parks???

I haven't tried mine on land, unless you consider dry sand land, but I can not think of any reason it wouldn't work in turf.

Yes it will work fine in parks, but it will be heavier than a land unit due to it needing to be waterproof. Hipmounted this isn't an issue. The use of having Iron Mask will help a lot.:detecting:

why in the world would you need a cover for it the machine is waterproff if you get dust on it them take it home and spray it off with the water hose and if u get caught in rain well its not gonna effect it all a excel II is ,is a waterproof sovereign
