excelerator 14" for sovereign

Eric

New member
Hi,

I want to get a bigger coil for my sovereign XS2 pro. Would the excelerator 14'' be a good choice or the WOT? It has to be sensitive to smaller coins as well....

I hope for info. Thanks, Eric.

I never tried the Excellerator, but have tried the WOT and the Sun Ray S12 coil which I find works the best for me and my coin hunting. The WOT seem a bit heavy after a while and I feel I can do better with the S-12 both depth and separation of targets. Now if you were a beach hunter or where you need the extra coverage I feel the WOT will give you that, but you will have to put up with the weight and it seems a little clumsy of a big coil.
The S12 of Sun Rays seem to be the biggest i can use and it does a great job too, so maybe check these out too and ask how many have one and what they feel about them..

the Excellerator coil for this brand of detector. I had to turn down the Sensitivity a lot to make the WOT stable on the beach here in Va. Beach, The S-12 I didn't. As far as deep, I got better depth out of the S-12. The coverage was a little better with the WOT, but didn't go as deep to me. The WOT was a little difficult to move through the water. Good Luck on your decision

I think qualitywise the S12 is the way to go. Most things I hear about the S12 are positive. Thanks for your efforts

Eric.
