Explorer 2 vs Explorer SE and pinpoint mode.

Does the pinpoint mode in Explorer 2 show you the digital readouts as you're swinging (swinging in pinpoint mode)?

Can you get the "lock on target" function on the Explorer SE taken out? Maybe by somehow pulling out a diode or something? Hopefully you can, I'de rather do that.

If yes to the first question and no to the second, I'm trading my SE for an Explorer 2!
 
Let me know if you want to trade your SE for my Explorer II.

Is your SE working properly now? I see you had a problem with it not making any sounds after it was turned on at one point.
