Explorer II owners read please

How long have you owned yours?
I have had mine since 2003 and I have not been gentle with it. I wish I would have kept track of all the clad I found with it. It is all stock except I replaced the arm cuff when it broke and added the Sunray Probe. It is still in my arsenal but I use it a bit less due to my recent purchase of a Tesoro Golden UMax. The Explorer is leaps and bounds better than the Golden in most settings but for park hunting I prefer the Golden.

Bought mine in 2002. I have used it more then time can tell but, it still works.
This is what works best for me in the Explorer series as it seems to be the smoothest with the Gen. 2 processor compared to the Gen 1 in the prior two models the XS and XS-S.

Did you have someone on the inside at Minelab? Because I know I bought mine as soon as they were released. If I am right they were released in May 2003

Yep, it was a typo. I pre ordered mine as soon as I found out they where releasing it.
I sold my XS for an XS-S then sold it for the XS-II. Later I purchased an SE to have as a back up and sold the SE to get a new SE Pro.
I still use my XS-II the majority of the time and the SE-Pro the remainder.
My bad on the typo my iPad is so easy to make mistakes on compared to the laptop. :throw:
