I noticed that the digital Id numbers, and smartfind cursors were slow to show up after locating a target. The machine has been usable as I hunt by sound. It gives me the impression that vid is
 
The ex 11 was always a little slow at with the vdi for me but the sound was quick enough. I moved to e trac because it was much faster. You should compare your machine to another one to see.

Thanks, I sure wish I could find someone with another explorer to compare.
