Explorer II vs E-Trac

After a 2 hour river park hunt my E-=Trac unit had found 23 coins with the 11" pro coil in trash down to 8 inches then for the last hour I switch to the 6" DD excellerator and found 9 more coins, nothing was found deeper then 8 inches with the 6", pretty good for a 6 inch coil. Also my friend with his Explorer II found nothing deeper then 8" using the standard 1050 coil 10". Every target I found with the E=Tr ac my friend was able to detect with the Explorer II and everything he detected my E-Tr ac saw also. It just seems to me that it took him seconds longer to decide if it was a coin or not. I had a total of 32 coins and my friend had 30 coins with one silver quarter. My friend used the pro coil while I used the 6" and he said he is thinking about ordering a Pro coil.

The timing of my selling of my Explorer II was bad as it happened when the E came out. Couldn't find a buyer so decided to keep it - not going to "give it away". So it is nice to know that the Explorer II is still  regardless of its new rival.

Long live the Explorer II
